まぶしさ

まぶしさに

あなたや彼やその壁やあの木が

白く透けて消えてゆく

ぎゅっとつむったまぶたを

まぶたにかざしたてのひらを

無力な水晶体の奥の網膜を

息を飲んでこわばった意識を

ひとつに繋ぐあなたの体や私のそれを

ばんと圧す

まぶしさよ

By the pure white brightness

You, him, this wall and that tree

Are lost into transparent whiteness

Eyelids closed so tight as to make fists

Hands over eyelids raised upon faces

Retinas behind the impotent crystalline lenses

Minds hardened like pieces of stone at once

Your body or mine, connecting all those things,

Are pushed and pressed with one big bang,

By the pure bright whiteness
